Strong Union Relationships

Certified is a member in good standing and signatory to all of the local trade unions involved with the delivery and installation of systems and private office furniture. These strong union relationships together with a workforce in excess of 250 insures our clients a complete and efficient installation - from receiving through installation and wiring of workstations to the set-up of private offices, inclusive of file cabinets and seating.

Planning

Proper planning is the key to a successful furniture delivery and installation project. Project teams, always headed by one of our principals, conduct a thorough and detailed site survey and review of key construction completion and client move dates. The survey results and key dates are then used to prepare a delivery and installation schedule. Site checklists include loading dock conditions, access for over-sized furniture, protection material requirements, staging areas, hoisting and rigging requirements, site readiness and elevator schedules.

Warehousing

Certified can provide off-site staging and temporary storage if furniture and miscellaneous parts cannot be delivered directly or if delivery must be accepted before site readiness. Our 550,000 plus square feet of indoor storage is specifically designed to handle large projects and daily deliveries. Our experienced staff will check-in and inspect all deliveries and prepare discrepancy reports, where necessary. All furniture and systems will be tagged according to the architect/client's directives and re-wrapped for delivery to the site.

Installation

Our experienced installers work quickly and efficiently to guarantee the configuration of the selected furniture systems is accurate. Job logs and a final master punch list of all installation problems and exceptions are prepared and followed up by the Certified project manager
